Shit Found in Synths #2…Dave Wilson Edition!!!
This episode of SFIS goes to show that finding things inside our precious synth’s guts isn’t always bad.

A Micromoog that was in for repair had an interesting note attatched on the underside of the panel.
The customer had told us he had bought it from David Wilson at the New England Synth Museum back in the 90′s for $20…(it was in very bad shape).
It is written that David worked on this Micromoog from July 20th-23rd of 1989. Before Al Gore invented the internet, people had to send letters and use the telephone. A nice advertisement for David’s services (“For service on this or any other antique synthesizer, call DHW @…or write to:…) can be seen on the note.
RIP David.
